Thanks for the post. As one of the aspiring 5% its good to know i'm on the right track. I've done many online courses, have a big stack of sql, python, pandas, and dashboarding books on my desk (read about half so far), use a lot of it at work (building working scripts) and practise at home...and still feel like I could know more. Useful advice for anything i'm missing though
Glad to hear that, Luke 🙏🏾. Keep going. Remember there's always more to learn. And they will be always be something new to learn. The most important thing is to come up with a structure or a plan of what you need to concentrate on and just focus on that.
Glad to see your genuine advices. Especially I agree with you that it’s important to focus on our selves and ignore the tech noises. Nowadays, LinkedIn is full with noises that generated by GenAI.
Thank you for this. I am not a natural at programming and Python to me is at times like learning Korean with a Farsi handbook (a language I don‘t speak either). So it‘s good to know that hard work and sheer persistence are ok virtues to bring to the table.
My class is going to start next week, definitely i will be in that 5%.
Stay determined and you will make it. All the best.
Thank you

Thank you Lim. Indeed, the tech noise is the biggest distraction. It's important to come up with a plan and concentrate only on what matters.
"Stop talking. Stop doubting. Get to work."
I'd be reflecting on this for a week till it becomes a part of me. Thank you!
Thank you, Trek🙏🏾
